ROOK ARMOR IS A COMPANY WHO BELIEVES IN RIGIROUS TESTING PROCESSES
At Rook Armor, we rigorously test our hard plate body armor against a wide range of threats, from common to rare rounds encountered in the USA and abroad. Our testing includes a variety of non-armor-piercing and armor-piercing rounds, such as the common AR-15/M16 (5.56x45mm), rounds like the M193 and M855, and even the less common M855A1. We also test against uncommon tungsten armor-piercing rounds, including the M995 (5.56x45mm) and M993 (7.62x51mm). Our plates are designed to stop these rounds, as well as foreign armor-piercing rounds like the B32 API (7.62x54R) and BZ (7.62x39, AK) rounds. Additionally, Rook Armor offers a plate that can stop the M33 662 grain .50 caliber Browning machine gun round at point-blank range (over 2850 feet per second).
